Daniel Perera (Guatemala City, 1980) is a researcher-militant currently training in sociocultural anthropology and experimental ethnography at The University of Texas at Austin. Born on the Day of the Dead to a family of wanderers and migrants from the Levant, the Balkans and South America, he has been forging his peculiar path since he flew the nest in 1999. His five years in Oaxaca, Mexico were (trans)formative. He eats hot chilies and has an incurable wanderlust. He often gets enthused.


Daniel Perera (Ciudad de Guatemala, 1980) es un militante investigador doctorándose en antropología sociocultural y etnografía experimental en la Universidad de Texas en Austin.
